• Absolutely loved this latest in Jax Hart’s MC series. I sincerely hope he never stops writing. Each book gets better and better!! Delving deeper into the underworld of MC clubs.
  
  I love his characters, his writing and his stories. I love that past characters pop up in each book letting you know this author hasn’t forgotten about how this journey started. But, at the same time, won’t get you lost or overwhelmed if you hadn’t read the first two, making this a great stand alone book in the series.
  
  Luce. What can I say about this spunky and lovable character we met briefly in Unscripted? She’s Dev’s best friend who flew in unexpectedly to surprise visit her BFF and winds up moving to Springdale herself. She totally entranced Smith, Creed MC’s Prez, the moment they see each other.
  
  Smith. He’s the newest MC president and forms alliances with new connections within the mafia and other MCs. He’s doing what must be done to protect his men and his club, even if that means bringing them back into the “gray area” between outlaw and law abiding citizens. Being Duke’s best friend put him in the running to become Prez once Duke stepped down.
  
  Now, it’s his turn to rule and he isn’t going to let anyone down. When a person he cares for comes into the crosshairs of a rival MC, he decides to step back and turn his back on the one he, quite possibly lived, to protect her but is it enough? Will pushing Luce away protect her or destroy him?
  
  This story flows smoothly and has plenty of hot and steamy scenes to ramp it up that extra notch. It has characters you grow to love and some you love to hate and in it all you discover that there’s so much more to being a club president than you’d think. Decisions he makes can mean life or death. Knowing who to trust becomes key and that anyone can be an enemy, at any time, can turn the tables on lives he strives to protect.
  
  Unfortunately, playing it safe and leaving behind the one you love to destroy those that want to hurt her, could ultimately push her into the arms of another man more ruthless and dangerous than Smith.
  
  Roque. Yum! Loved this new mafia bad boy! I sincerely hope to find out more in coming books of the one man who could take Luce from Smith and not regret it. He’s smooth. He’s gorgeous. He’s a bad boy with no regrets and now has his eyes set on Luce.
  
  And Luce? Yeah, she notices but is conflicted with her feelings because of the one man she thought she loved. The one that left. The one, who she thought, only played with her head and her heart simply because he could. Then threw her away...
  
  Personally, I cannot wait to see what is coming up next from the author.
• Smith has changed, he's not the man Luce remembers. Smith met Luce through Rog and his girl Dev. Rog owns The Sassy Wench Tavern, the club's bar. One look is all it took and Smith instantly knew Luce was his. Luce is willing and wants to belong to Smith, but being with the Prez of Creed MC comes with a price. That price just might be Luce's life.
  Smith feels the only way he can protect Luce is by abandoning her. There's a threat from another MC and Smith cant, will not, let Luce be harmed. He'd give her up before he would ever let that happen. In doing so, all hopes of a life with the only woman who's ever meant anything to him would die. • This is the third book in the Creed series, it is a MC romance following our two lead characters Luce and Smith. Luce starts out as a meek character, however throughout the story she gains confidence, more of a backbone, and asserts herself much more. Smith is an alpha male, Dom, and he is the president of the Creed MC, and one thing I can say about him is he knows what he wants and goes after it, such an alpha..be still my heart! I loved their journey and watching Luce and Smith fall in love. Their characters are so easy to like, complex, and fiercely loyal, and you won't be able to help yourself from falling in love with them and the ones they call family. This story is raw, dark and emotional and filled with romance, action, and unexpected surprises. Absolutely brilliant book and series, I highly recommend you pick it up and read for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
• This is the third book in the Creed MC series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish.
